A hands-on workshop on “Cochrane Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis” was organized at HITEC-IMS., on 12th August 2026

The workshop aimed to equip faculty members, postgraduate trainees, and researchers with practical skills in conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses in accordance with Cochrane methodology – a gold standard in evidence-based medicine. Participants were guided through the complete review process, from formulating a focused research question to appraising studies, managing bias, and synthesizing results through meta-analysis with the help of Software’s e.g. Zotero/ EndNote, RevMan and Rayyan.

The session was conducted by a distinguished panel of facilitators:

  • Prof. Dr. Zille Huma Mustehsan (NUST)
  • Prof. Dr. Mahmood Asghar (AMC)
