The Seerat Society of HITEC – IMS successfully organized the “Seerah Conference 2025 “on 11th September, 2025 at the Lecture Hall 1. The event was held to honor and reflect upon the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), with a focus on drawing inspiration for contemporary challenges faced by the medical community and society at large.
The distinguished Chief Guest for the conference was Maj. Gen. Prof. Hafeez Ud Din ®HI (M), Principal of Hitec – IMS. Principal Dental College, Prof Irfan Shah, also graced the occasion with his presence. Faculty from both the Medical and Dental colleges, and students of Medical & Dental college, School of Nursing and Institute of Allied Health Sciences attended the event.
The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (PBUH) competition. Students from Medical & Dental college, Nursing School & Institute of Allied Health Sciences participated in this event. Students rendered heart touching salutations to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and mesmerized the audience.
Mohammad Taha, student of MBBS 1st year got the 1st prize in Naat competition. Mohammad Suliman Haider from Institute of Allied Health Sciences and EmanZaheer, 1st year BS Nursing student got 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
This was followed by a thought provoking talk by the Guest Speaker Prof Dr RabNawaz highlighting different aspects of the Seerah, including the Prophet’s role as a teacher, healer, and reformer.
The Principal appreciated the efforts of the Seerat Society and Organizers of the Program, Prof Zubia Razzaq and Dr Nausheen Ashraf for organizing such a meaningful and spiritually uplifting event and encouraged students to uphold the values of empathy, honesty, and service to humanity in their medical careers.
The event concluded with heartfelt prayers for the success of the participants and the continued progress of the institution. The Seerah Conference 2025 was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impression on both faculty and students, and reaffirming the importance of linking medical education with ethical and spiritual values.
