PMDC Inspection Visit For Upgradation of 150 MBBS 1st Year Seats

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) conducted an official inspection of the HITEC Institute of Medical Sciences (HITEC IMS), affiliated with NUMS, on January 29th and 30th, 2025. The visit aimed to evaluate the institute’s capacity for increasing MBBS seats from 100 to 150 per year. During the inspection, the PMDC team assessed the facilities and faculty in HITEC IMS and affiliated hospitals, including HIT Hospital, Margalla Hospital, and Islamabad Medical Complex. Following a comprehensive review, PMDC approved the seat upgrade, marking a significant milestone in HITEC IMS’s commitment to medical education excellence.
