The Department of Medicine, in collaboration with the Department of Community Medicine, HITEC-IMS, organized an interactive session for House Officers and Postgraduate Trainees in connection with World Patient Safety Day 2026.

Aligned with the theme “Safe Care for Noncommunicable Diseases,” the session focused on preventing medical errors in NCD care, particularly medication and diagnostic errors, communication gaps, safe prescribing, and continuity of care. The interactive discussion enhanced participants’ awareness of practical measures to promote patient safety and quality care in clinical practice.
