The 1st International Research Conference organized by HITEC-Institute of Medical Sciences was held with great success, marking a significant milestone in the institute’s journey towards academic and research excellence. The event was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Maj Gen (R) Muhammad Aslam, whose presence added prestige to the occasion.
With the theme focused on advancing medical science through research and collaboration, the conference brought together more than 200 participants from 25 medical and dental colleges across Pakistan. Over 100 oral and poster presentations were submitted, showcasing innovative research and emerging scientific trends especially from students, and young researchers

The conference also featured two valuable workshops that added a practical dimension to the learning experience:
An On-campus SPSS workshop titled “Evidence through Analysis: Hands-On SPSS Workshop for Emerging Researchers”, which provided participants with practical data analysis skills.
An Online post-conference workshop conducted in collaboration with BMY-Health Canada titled “Best Practices for Ethical Review Committees”, aimed at strengthening the ethical framework of research practices.
The Student Research Society played a vital role in the planning and execution of the conference, alongside other student societies of HITEC-IMS, contributing significantly to its overall success.
