2nd Blood Donation Camp

A blood donation camp was organized by Students Blood Donation Society on 21 st February 2024.It was in collaboration with Thalassemia Welfare Society and Pathwel Centre of Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplant. Students donated blood with full zeal and enthusiasm. Director of Bone Marrow Transplant program Maj. Gen Dr Parvez Ahmed ® was chief guest of the occasion. He stressed on the importance of prenatal diagnosis and its treatment in eradicating Thalassemia while addressing the audience. Maj Gen Qamar Un Nisa while talking to the students motivated them to pursue their careers in the rapidly advancing field of clinical hematology. The principal Maj Gen Hamid Shafiq® thanked the distinguished guests for their valuable talk and appreciated their efforts and dedication in the disease management. The event was concluded with the distribution of shields and certificates to the guests and organizers.
