The Medical and Dental College at HITEC-IMS celebrated Pakistan’s Independence Day on August 13, 2026, with an Independence Day Walk at 8:45 AM, in which faculty, students, and staff participated with flags and patriotic slogans. This was followed by a formal function commencing with the National Anthem, evoking a sense of unity and pride among all. The Principals of the Medical and Dental Colleges then addressed the gathering, reflecting on the significance of independence, the responsibilities of the youth, and the role of healthcare professionals in nation building followed by cake cutting ceremony
