National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) Inspection Team visited HITEC Institute of Medical Sciences (HITEC-IMS) on February 11, 2025 for affiliation of BS MLT Program. The team comprised of Brig (Retd) Dr. Akhtar Hussain Bangash, SI (M), Director Inspections NUMS, Prof Dr. Aamir Shahzad, Director Academics (Clinical) NUMS, Dr. Muhammad Fiaz, Medical Technologist PIMS and Engr Muhammad Shakeel, Assistant Director Inspections NUMS.

 

Following a brief interaction with Principal HITEC-IMS, Maj. Gen(R) Hamid Shafique, HI (M), the inspection team received a briefing in the conference room by Dr. Faisal Wadood, Dean IAHS. The team then toured various departments, including basic and para-clinical sciences, teaching hospital and Institute of Allied Health Sciences to evaluate the facilities and infrastructure for BS MLT program, after which the team reviewed the relevant documentation. The inspection was concluded with the presentation of souvenirs by the worthy Principal to the respected team members and by the Team Convener to Dean IAHS.
