Introduction

<p class=”dept-intro”>Pediatrics is an important subject of MBBS curriculum, taught throughout the five years with the bulk of teaching in fourth and final year. The Pediatrics department has 60 beds, consisting of well-equipped ward, Paeds ICU and Neonatal ICU. It also provides emergency and liaison services to other departments. Department has internal and external OPDs along with vaccination facility. Undergraduate teaching is done through different modes of information transfer, mainly through interactive lectures in all five years and clinical rotations in different sections of the department from third to final year.</p>
