Awarness Session

HITEC Institute of medical sciences organized a an awareness session on 7th October 2025, regarding Parenting in the modern era.  The event  started  with recitation of Holy Quran.  Dr. Mehwish  Sultan from the psychiatry department gave a brief introduction of the program and introduced the honorable guests.  Dr.Aqsa Naheed form dermatology department gave a very good and comprehensive presentation on “Digital landscape reshaping childhood coping strategies” which gave the audience a very good understanding about how child’s initial development takes place in the digital world. Then  Ms. Fatima Asad who is a clinical psychologist in HIT Hospital  gave a Presentation on “ Parenting in digital era” which explained the types of Parenting and their effect  on the intellectual growth of children.  Brig. Nazir HOD Pediatrics department appraised the audience   on  implications of excessive screen time on the minds of  children.  There was a Question /Answer session at the end. The attendes were very satisfied after the session and requested the management to arrange more sessions for thei awareness.
