Introduction

The department of ENT is one of the pioneer departments with its inception from the start of the HIT hospital, 20 years ago. The department has 20 beds in -patient ward, including post-op care and ITC. It is undertaking many surgeries. Recently it has been equipped with initial FESS equipment. It has a dedicated out-patient and a well-equipped audiology department. It is involved with the teaching and practical training to the medical students in third year and fourth year whereas the theoretical part is covered in the first four years.
