Workshop on Prescription Writing and P- Drug

A workshop on Prescription writing and P -drug was conducted by the Pharmacology department on 30 th January 2024. Prof Muhammad Munir Ahmad Khan (Head of Pharmacology Department) talked about the parts of a prescription, importance of rational prescribing of a drug and common errors in prescription writing. He also stressed on the ethical aspects of prescribing a drug to the patient. Dr Naila Abrar discussed about the criteria of selecting a P -drug. It was attended by the faculty and house officers of medical and dental sides. All participants appreciated the activity and termed it very useful for the house officers who are at the start of their practical life
