Surgery

Introduction

The department of Surgery encompasses General Surgery, Urology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics and Accident & Emergency department. All types of emergency as well as elective surgeries are carried out as a routine in the hospital. The latest techniques like Laparoscopic & Endourological surgeries are also employed in the treatment of patients. The theoretical part of the curriculum is covered in the class room teaching, throughout five years. Wards, OPD, ICU, A&E and skill lab are used for the practical training of students from third year to final year MBBS.
